Nick Jones
IT manager
I'm in for the career progression.
I heard about the opportunities in Urgent Primary Care while working in the Health Board’s IT department. I decided to move from working in IT for a University Health Board, to overseeing the IT for the Urgent Primary Care service within the region, so that I could be more involved in providing patient care and to develop my skills outside of IT.
My main role in Urgent Primary Care is working as an IT manager, however, I do help out in other roles where I’m needed, such as working as a driver or as a receptionist.
In Urgent Primary Care, there’s such a great culture, and plenty of opportunity to learn and do different tasks. For those thinking about joining, if you enjoy a good team spirit and the flexibility, then Urgent Primary Care is the right place for you.
