Betsi Cadwaladr holds first Urgent Primary Care Conference

6 December 2019

Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board held their first Urgent Primary Care Conference on Monday 2nd December.   The event was a huge success and was well attended by a variety of Multi-Disciplinary professionals and services, which allowed them to take the first steps into integrated care, networking and relationship building to enhance patient safety and patient experience.

Staff who attended also gained some CPD points with workshops on NEWS scores, Sepsis, Mental Health, Palliative Care and Integrated Urgent Care.

Kirsty Ditcher, Senior Nurse, BCUHB GP Out of Hours Service said: “We were grateful for guest speakers such as Richard Bowen and Alex Gibbins from the 111 team, Health Improvement Cymru. We aim for this to become an annual event and are encouraged to do so from the exceptional feedback we received from the attendees.”
