Urgent Primary Care (OOH)

Vacancies

There are Urgent Primary Care job vacancies across the seven Health Boards and within Welsh Ambulance Service NHS Trust (WAST) and 111.

If you don’t see a vacancy but are interested in working in Urgent Primary Care, please get in touch with the lead contact for the region you are interested in working. This is particularly the case for sessional GPs.

The Portfolio GP role

We have a new and exciting opportunity for salaried GPs in ABUHB. The GP will be able to work across in hours, out of hours and speciality sessions in ED or MAU (ambulatory care) as a GP. Mentorship will be provided and the GP will be able to learn new skills in these speciality roles. There will also be a non-clinical innovation and improvement session per week where the GP will be able to take a lead on an area of primary care or project work.

Contact Aneurin Bevan University Health Board for more information.

Sessional GP shifts in Urgent Primary Care/111

We have vacancies for sessional GPs in urgent primary care to work on a non-contracted flexible basis. These shifts can be ad hoc or on a regular preferred shift pattern.

For more information, or to submit expression of interest in opportunities available, please contact the local regional representative of the Out of Hours service for the area in which you would like to work.

Alternatively send a message via the contact page.
